North Korea:

• hate South Korea
• oppressive government 
• very secluded and isolated from the rest of the world
• currently headed by Kim Jong-Un
• Kim Jong-Un did NOT like The Interview
• state-run socialist government that many consider to be Stalinist dictatorship
• official name: Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK)
• socialism is complete control, having complete control
• they are isolated by the GOVERNMENT
• they are a peninsula
• Pyongyang is the capital
• located at 39 degrees north (latitude)
• Bel Air, Maryland is also located at 39 degrees north 
• they don't even have lights to use at night
• people are cutting down so many trees for some fire wood to put some light in their homes
• no lights on the coast 
• at night, from a satellite view, North Korea looks like part of the ocean because of the lack of light
• reporters traveling to North Korea had to turn in their mobile phones at the border
• In February 2013, North Korean government enabled 3G access, but only for the foreigner visitors only
• pre-industrial level of technology 
• no surprise that North Koreans have such little access to electricity
